Thanks to Rangi Trinder and Dave Tregoweth who have provided some more background documents for us to add to the website. These are file download links on the “About” section of the site (which has replaced the “Membership” page and is more appropriately named for it’s contents).
Rangi found us a copy of the the Battalion Journal from 1988/87, referencing the visit to NZ by the Crown Prince of Tonga, Lt Col Don McGregor having had a strong history and relationship with the Tongan military. Dave managed to find a .PDF copy of Bloody Gallipoli, by Richard Stowers, which documents the NZ involvement (including the Taranaki Company) on the Gallipoli peninsula over 100 years ago. Both good reads and worth checking out on the “About” page.
